Management Information Systems MBA Specialization Overview
Students obtaining their MBA with a Management Information Systems specialization will take coursework on the basic perspectives of design, development, implementation, utilization, and administration of computer-based information systems.
This specialization is designed to equip students to manage technology to solve business problems, transform business processes, and assist in decision making. Classes in Management Information Systems and Systems Analysis and Design are offered to provide students with a broad understanding of business analytics and intelligence, data modeling, information system strategy, e-commerce and Structured Query Language. The degree builds upon prior knowledge in Information Systems by offering deeper technical knowledge in the field.
