I began my career at Ashland University in 1995 in the Athletic Department where I worked for four years, then I worked in the Student Life Office for seven years. I started working at the Rec Center in 2006, when the facility first opened. My main responsibilities within the department include selling memberships, maintaining and balancing the budgets and helping to record student time sheets. My interests include making greeting cards, playing racquetball, reading and walking. I also love to babysit my six granddaughters.
Janel Molnar, Director

I have been working at Ashland University since 2004; serving as the graduate assistant, assistant director of facilities and have been in the position as director of recreational services since May 2009. My job responsibilities include facility rentals, membership, facility operations and equipment maintenance. I graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science in recreation and a Master of Education in sport management. I reside in Medina and enjoy playing table tennis, running and spending time with my family.
Andrew Havrisko, Assistant Director, Programs

I began working at Ashland University in August 2014 as the Assistant Director of Programs. I did my undergraduate work at Rowan University in New Jersey where I received my B.A. in History. Following that, I became the Graduate Assistant for Intramural Sports & Sport Clubs at The University of Mississippi (lovingly known as Ole Miss) where I received my M.A. in Park and Recreation Management. My job responsibilities here at Ashland include overseeing Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Group Exercise, and the Climbing Wall. I enjoy spending time with my fiancée, playing golf, all things sports, roller coasters, and new adventures. I am passionate about working with students and appreciate the opportunity to enhance their college experience through interactions with the Department of Recreational Services.
Justin Fletcher, Assistant Director, Aquatics and Student Development

I began my journey at Ashland University in the fall of 2008 as an incoming freshman, working as a Lifeguard and earning my B.S. in Sport Management. Through my 4 years I worked as a Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, Certification Instructor, and Facility Manager. I returned to Ashland University and began my current position as the Assistant Director, Aquatics & Student Development in May of 2015. In the time inbetween, I spent two years as the Graduate Coordinator for Aquatics at the Rowan University Rec Center, and one year as the Operations Coordinator for Clemson University's Campus Recreation Department. My responsibilities consist of overseeing Customer Service, Equipment Checkout, Fitness Center, Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Certification Instructors, Lifeguards, and Facility Managers, overseeing our Swim Lesson and safety certifications. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially waterskiing, snow skiing, hiking, camping, and participating in sports leagues.
