Box Office: Event Tickets & Policies
Until further notice, the box office is open Monday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m. with the exception of out-of-the-office meetings and other conflicts. On-line orders can be placed 24-hours, seven days a week, via the ticket buttons above.
For purchases at the Box Office, there are no additional fees for cash and check transactions. However, all electronic payments including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover incur a $1 per ticket fee.
Online orders have a per-ticket charge ranging from $2-$4 based upon the price of the ticket. The per-ticket fee covers costs from our online ticketing partner. We are pleased to provide some of the lowest online ticketing costs in the industry. Reduced ticket prices for AU STUDENT ($2), CHILDREN ($5) and GROUP of 10 or more ($8), are NOT available online. These must be purchased in-person through the box office or by phone at 419.289.5125.
Please check dates and ticket information carefully prior to final purchase. All ticket purchases and transactions are final. No refunds are offered except in the case of a cancelled event not replaced. Only season pass holders may reschedule free of charge. Due to the nature of live performances, programs and dates are subject to change.
Children under the age of five are not permitted for any reason unless otherwise noted (i.e., Ashland Regional Ballet's The Nutcracker: Young children are admitted with the understanding that they are able to watch the performance without disruption to other audience members. Infants are not admitted.). All events require that an attending child have their own ticket, regardless of age. Parents/accompanying adults are asked to be mindful of others in attendance when bringing a child, and please remove the child from the auditorium/theatre should they be unable to sit through a performance without disturbing others. Certain performance content may require parental discretion. The Box Office will attempt to make this known in such cases, but please ask should you have any questions.
Electronic Devices/Cameras and Recording Devices
To avoid disruption of the performance, all cell phones and pagers must be turned off before entering the theatre and please refrain from texting during performances. The taking of photographs and recordings of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the theatre.
Late arrivals will be seated at the discretion of the house manager and may be asked to wait in the lobby until a predetermined time in the program, when they will be seated by ushers. Late arrivals could possibly not be seated in their assigned seats until intermission.
Studio Theatre: Due to the location of the stage to the audience, there is no admittance once a performance has started. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Sold Out Events/Waiting Lists
Patrons without tickets may arrive one hour prior to the performance and ask the Box Office to be placed on the waiting list. This list will only be started on site at the performance venue. Beginning with the first name on the list, the Box Office will sell empty seats to the first person on the list AND WHO IS PRESENT until all remaining seats are sold. This process has often allowed a high percentage of individuals to be seated at a sold out event.
All Ashland University performance venues have handicap accessible seating. Please contact the Box Office at 419.289.5125 if you need to request wheelchair accessible seating. Wheelchair seating may not be ordered online.
