Admission into programs for professions that require licensure and certification does not guarantee that students will obtain a license or certificate. Ashland University makes every effort to ensure information about educational requirements for licensure or certification is current; however, requirements may change.
According to U.S. Code of Federal Regulations 34 CFR §668.43, Ashland University is required to inform students who are entering a program which prepares students for a profession that requires licensure whether or not the program meets the requirements in the state in which they currently reside. If you are planning to pursue professional licensure or certification in a state other than Ohio, it is strongly recommended that you contact the appropriate licensing entity in that state to seek information and guidance regarding licensure or certification requirements before beginning an academic program.
