GETTING KIDS READY TO LEARN

As Early Childhood educators, we have the great responsibility of helping our students create their school identity and set the foundation for their future school success. With that in mind, have you ever wondered how some classes seem to function better than others?  Have you ever wondered how you could get your students to be independent workers?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this course is for you.  Through this course you will reflect on your classroom environment.  What works?  What does not work?  You will set expectations and procedures to meet those expectations.  You will make a plan for the first day and first weeks of school.  You will reflect on how you interact with your students.  What do you want them to know how to do?  You will consider how much independence you expect from your students and plan how to teach them to be independent.  And finally, you will consider how you interact with parents.

You'll be able to access your student account using Self-Service Ashland. There, you'll find printable financial statements and grade reports, plus a link for requesting transcripts, once your grades have posted. Instructions for establishing or resetting your login can be found HERE.
